Genre classic for this generation. Hits all the tropes and notes you'd expect, but elevated by the writing. First major work from Finn and Billy as writer/director/actor team and solidly puts them on the map as a team to keep an eye on. Characters are real, writing is tight, shot selection is efficient. Sound is a bit inconsistent, but I think it's because some folks strained their voices. Kills are impactful and mostly practical, but not gratuitous. Does not overstay its welcome and remains entertaining throughout. Not going to win any awards, but worth your time. I would put this on as easy viewing for any fans of the genre or as an introduction to any young moviewatcher to learn the cinematic language of horror.
